Designed to be lightweight and easy to assemble, PolyJumps Dressage Arena Kits are available in a variety of dimensions available to accommodate all sorts of training and test riding. They come standard with full boards at either 2metres or 4metres long to make setting up super easy, even on your own!

Complete with each kit is a set of our small dressage marker stands, only 370mm high, 320mm wide, and weighing just 1.5kg each which makes stacking, storing, and transporting your arena an easy task! How long is a dressage arena?

A standard dressage arena measures at 20m x 60m and is used for British Dressage and FEI Dressage competitions, as well as the higher levels in eventing. A smaller standard size dressage arena is 20m x 40m, and typically used for the lower levels of British Eventing.

How far apart should the letters be on a dressage arena?

On a 20m x 40m arena there are 8 letters, 3 on the long sides and 1 on each short end. The corner letters are 6m away from the corner and there is a subsequent 14m between each letter on the long sides. Letters A and C are in the middle of the short sides, exactly 10m from each corner.

On a 20m x 60m arena there are 12 letters, with the number on the long sides increasing to 5 letters. As the short side measurements are the same, A and C remain in the same place, and the corner letters are still 6m away from the corner. There are 12m between each letter on the long sides of a 20m x 60m arena.

What are the letters on a dressage arena

On a short arena (20m x 40m) the letters around the outside are A, K, E, H, C, M, B, F, with D, X, and G down the centre line.

On a long arena (20m x 60m) the letters around the outside are A, K, V, E, S, H, C, M, R, B, P, F, with D, L, X, I, and G down the centre line.
